Kingston SSD Manager is a free tool dedicated to provides users the ability to monitor the status, health and manage various aspects of their Kingston® Solid State Drive. This application is not compatible with Linux distributions or Mac OS.
After a quick and smooth installation, you come face to face with a user-friendly interface that won’t give you problems. In fact, you can preview valuable data about your drive along with the current health status from the box located in the upper left corner. On a side note, if you have more than one SSD, then you can also switch between them from the tab on the left.
As far as information is displayed, you can learn more about the use of partitions and disks, SSD wear indicators, backup blocks, overall health, temperature and power on the clock from the bottom panel. Other data exhibits include the Kingston model, serial and firmware versions, the latter available with recommendations for upgrade.
While in the bottom panel, you can check the overall health of the drive, you can easily explore various related attributes in detail.
Regardless of whether you need to know the details of the solid state drive you have, want to check whether it is necessary to upgrade the firmware or prefer to monitor the health of the hard disk to prevent future data loss, Kingston SSD Manager is reliable.
