Microsoft Edge 90.0.818.51

Microsoft Internet Explorer was the best web browser until Mozilla Firefox arrived. Firefox was popular for a while until Google Chrome comes and took over its popularity. Now, Microsoft is back with a browser that is all new to compete with Chrome. That is Microsoft Edge.

Apparently, Microsoft is too ambitious because they haven’t gotten enough people to go back to uses its browser. There are several reasons why this happens. Mainly, it has to do with the EdgeHTML engine which gives the browser power.

Microsoft has been actively trying to improve their browsers for a while now. They stopped using the EdgeHTML engine and switched to the Google Blink engine, with a browser supported by Chromium. This browser will continue doing its job for improvement in the same way as before.

Better for Developers
Web developers must always ensure that the encoded website is compatible with every major browser in use today. To do this, they must pay attention to the main browser engine used to make this browser. The engines include Blink by Google, Gecko by Mozilla, WebKit by Apple, and EdgeHTML by Microsoft.

Because EdgeHTML is gone, it’s now easier for web developers to maintain their website creations to be compatible with the latest browsers out there.

Microsoft is smart to change their browser engine to Google Blink because the latest web standards are easier to implement in their latest Chromium release. The Edge development team only needs to keep update this release.

Aesthetics are the same
Microsoft Edge users don’t seem to mind the browser’s visual design because it’s almost the same. In fact, the user interface is the most popular application feature. It makes sense that Microsoft will not try to change the design that has been liked.

The versions of Chromium and EdgeHTML are not completely the same. Once you start looking at the browser menu, you will see the difference. The classic sidebar has been replaced by the new Chromium arrangement. Users actually praise this change.

Limited Visual Customization Options
Personalizing users can use more work. The only things users can change are the favorite bar, default font, and home button.

If you like the classic dark Edge theme, it’s not yet fully applied to this internet browser. But if you go to the edge: // page flag, you can activate the theme.

Possibility of Using Less RAM, Feels Faster
When you first try the browser, you will see the browser running great and loading web pages quickly. It even feels as fast as Chrome, so the transition will be easier if you are looking to start using the Edge Browser instead.

Although there are variations in RAM usage, it seems to have less RAM than Chrome. If you try to open multiple tabs at once, you will see this. Thus the performance has increased than the previous EdgeHTML version.

A plenty of new extensions
It’s no secret that the Chrome Web Store outperforms all other repositories related to the number of extensions available. If you can’t find the add-on here, you won’t find it anywhere else.
