QuickLook is a specially developed application that gives you similar fast display capabilities on your Windows computer. This allows you to preview content from several different file types and provides a better overall user experience.
Every Mac user will lose the Quick Look feature when switching to a Windows PC, because this is a very easy way to preview the contents of various files before you double click to actually open them. This application aims to bring the practical MacOS Quick Look feature to your Windows PC.
Basically, this application helps you stay efficient by allowing you to check the contents of a particular file without using its default program to open it up. All you have to do is select the file and press the Space key, and a small window that displays its contents will appear on your desktop.
QuickLook allows you to preview files that contain text, images, videos, archives, and PDF, as well as various other types of documents like Microsoft Word files. You can even zoom in on our display, and videos can be played in the resulting window. For other files, as well as folders, some details will be displayed in the information box.
During file preview, you can choose to open the file with the default program. At the top right of the window, you will see the name of the application. If you are experienced with QuickLook on a Mac computer, then you can browse files and content in the same way by pressing the arrow keys. Because you have an active preview, you can go to the new folder.
